✈️ The Greatest Airport Hack of All Time

We just uncovered what might be the best airport hack ever…

If you ever have the chance, fly in or out of San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Let me explain.

We’ve been home for about a week after our whirlwind trip to San Francisco, and this wasn’t just any trip. SFO actually invited us back after seeing the video we made about the city last year.

They wanted us to answer the question:

"What if airports were actually good and didn’t suck?"

So, we explored SFO’s secret perks—and let’s just say it involved Manhattans, bunnies, and naps…though not necessarily in that order. 🥃🐰💤

Our full video drops in a few days, and trust me, you don’t want to miss this one!

🌆 What Else We Did in San Francisco

Beyond the airport, we had an epic time in SF and beyond, including:
✔️ Rainforests (yes, in the city!)
✔️ Vintage photobooths for that old-school charm 📸
✔️ Bullet train sushi because, obviously, we needed sushi on a conveyor belt 🍣
✔️ A road trip down Highway 1 to explore the San Francisco Peninsula 🚗💨

I’m so excited for this video series, and I hope you are too!

🧳 Gear Update: The Carry-On I Tested on 4 Flights

For this trip, I put my new carry-on, the Lipault Plume Cabin Spinner, to the ultimate test—4 flights, 5 different hotels, and 9 nights on the road.

So…how did it hold up? 🤔 I just published my full review video, and let’s just say, this suitcase is perfect for a very specific type of traveler (and not so great for others).

If you’re in the market for a new carry-on, check out my newest video here!

*and if this one isn’t for you, here’s the full carry-on database which lists the best carry-ons that fit on specific airlines*

💡 Travel Tip: Avoid This Hidden Uber Fee

Uber’s new “Preferred Currency Pricing” feature automatically converts fares to your home currency—but they sneak in a 1.5% fee for the “convenience.”

Want to avoid this unnecessary charge? Turn off this setting in the Uber app and always pay in the local currency (as long as your card has no foreign transaction fees).

Need a travel-friendly card? Here are the top cards with no foreign transaction fees right now.

🎿 Travel Contest:

✉️ In My Next Email…

With recent events, I’ve been getting a lot of questions, comments, and even requests about canceling travel to the US (for context, I’m Canadian 🇨🇦).

I’ll share my thoughts in the next email—stay tuned...

That’s all for now,

Happy weekend! SETTING THE RUMORS STRAIGHT: For the last few weeks, I’ve been getting so many comments on my luggage videos asking about the ‘new carry-on sizing changes in 2025.’ I was so confused about where these were coming from because I’ve heard nothing of the sort. Turns out, there have been a couple videos floating around that went viral (like, over a million views in a week) that stated that US airlines are now all following a new size for carry-on bags and that old luggage may not...
