Trip teasers, updates + new travel faves

Hello!

I hope the first 12 days of the new year have been kind to you.

Here’s some fun travel content and Aly Smalls updates for you to start the week:

UPCOMING VIDEOS: I’m working on a new carry-on video, a couple more about Mexico and some must-know travel tips for a couple of destinations I visited last year (some things that were very useful to know before arrival).

TRIP TEASERS: so far we *only* have 3 trips booked for 2025.

One in February, one in June and one in October.

One trip is somewhere we’ve been before, one is to a place I haven't visited for 22 years and another is to a country we've never been.

Any guesses??

AEROPLAN OFFER: I might do this - until Jan 14th, you can buy Aeroplan plan points with up to 100% bonus.

You have to have an Aeroplan account, and some members are targeted with a maximum 85% (like me), but it could definitely be worth it if you’re planning a trip soon.

I read the Daily Drop newsletter each day, which shared this little tidbit and explained some examples in their January 7th issue. You can read it here.

CONTESTS: there’s still a few days left to win a $250 hotel credit through Plannin when you sign up and create a free account.

I shared more details about booking my hotel through Plannin in my video here.

Flytrippers is giving away $888 towards flights to celebrate their 8 year anniversary. I believe you have to sign up for their newsletter to enter (I’m signed up, which is how I found out about the contest).

LAS VEGAS POOLS: I know many of you like Las Vegas, so this is a reminder that there are several hotels that keep their pools open year round.

Plaza, Circa and Park MGM are 3 favorites for their hot tubs.

2 NEW TRAVEL FAVES: if you’re like me, I always get a boost of motivation to be a little ‘healthier’ in the new year

Protein and skin care are top of mind right now, so here are 2 things I travel with:

► An RXBAR for a clean protein snack on the go

This glow sunscreen stick for the plane (so that I don’t have to touch my face with my hands).

That’s all for now,

Aly
